The boutique residential development adopts multifunctional design strategies to make more efficient use of limited real estate by transforming conventionally single functional building components into additional active communal greenery spaces for residents.
These communal greenery spaces were oriented to occupy the predominant west façade to receive maximum daily sun exposure for better plant growth while allowing the individual dwelling unit to occupy the other orientations for better passive climatic control against solar heat gain. Thus, transforming typical real estate limitations of small developments into a design advantage.
