TURNING WASTE INTO RESOURCE

The recycling project was an effort to reuse materials that would have been otherwise regarded as building waste during demolition and discarded. The plethora of well-aged Burmese teak wood door frames that were salvaged from the demolished bungalow were upcycled to become the staircase landings of the pair of new semi-detached houses replacing it. A total of 1.566 cubic metres of timber was recycled.
